Animation Resource

  • Many often wonder how long animation takes. From sketching, styleframes, storyboards, layouts, and animation, it's a multi-step process that can be expensive. Ask yourself: why does this project need to be animated?

When thinking about an animated segment, consider how many backgrounds environments will there be, how many people, how fluid their movements are, do they need to look life-like in order to communicate your story. All these factor into how long and how involved the animation process will be.
